The Tale of the Cobra

 

The car presented above is the big, brutal version of the 1969 Ford Mustang. Back in the 60's, Carrol Shelby(Automotive Designer) collaborated with Ford to unleash the Shelby GT350. It used a 4.7L V8 which produced 308 HP. The car seen above is the Shelby GT500 which has a big block V8 engine producing around 360 HP. To top it all off, the 1968 Shelby GT500 was the last year Shelby American built the GT500s before Ford took over production, adding to its historical importance.

Record Breaking Cars

 Car manufacturers break records to be the best of the best. But why do cars do this? Well, only hypercars do and it started off on 31st of March in 1998 where the Mclaren F1 broke the speed record when it clocked the speed of 240 mph(386.4km/h) where 210mph was the speed limit.
The Mclaren F1 is equipped with a 6.1L BMW's V12 which gives out a horsepower of 612.

  

Moving on to 2005, the Bugatti Veyron(now owned by the VW Group) broke the fastest record while going 400km/h. Since, this was the original version, this model was limited to 150 units. Two years later, bugatti lost the record to SSC Ultimate Aero which clocked a s-eed of 410km/h. Bugatti recaptured the title in 2010 with Veyron's bigger brother, the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport which clocked the speed of 430km/h with is massive 8.0L W16 engine which gave an enormous 1,000HP.

7 years later, Koenigsegg joined the game by breaking the record with its iconic Agera RS which clocked the speed of 447.19km/h, The RS version of the Agera uses a 5,000CC Twin Turbocharged V8 which is taken from the AMG's evil division and it puts out a massive horsepower of 1,341.

 

At present, the world's fastest car is the Jesko Absolut which is also from Koenigesegg. It has clocked a speed of 330mph(531km/h). It uses a5.1L twin-turbocharged V8(again from AMG's evil division) which puts out a horsepower of 1,280. The lesson we learn from here is that no one is built perfect. Each one has their own unique way of putting out their skills.

Have you heard about a car which broke its own world record? Well, that was what happened with the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut when it broke the record from going 0-400km/h and back to 0 in 28 seconds. But what is Koenigsegg and how did it become popular? Koenigsegg is a swedish manufacturer of high-perfomance, record-breaking hypercars bades in Sweden.The company was founded in 1994 by Christian Von Koenigsegg who had an intention of building fast, "world-class" supercars. Many years of hardwork and planning, Koenigsegg launched its first model called the CC8S. The CC8s uses a 4.7L Supercharged V8 which gives out a massive horsepower of 655. in 2006, Koenigsegg launched the CCX which used an engine created in-house specifically for the car. The idea was to develop the car for people to use worldwide. In March 2009, Koenigsegg launched the CCXR which was the bigger brother of the CCX. The CCXR was listed in the top 10 most beautiful cars. Back in 2009, Koengisegg started importing one model to India called the Agera which was so expenisve(Rs.16 Cr) that they had to retrieve the sales. People always ask why Koenigsegg is the best car? Well, it is a perfect car with no compromises, no limits and no fear of failure.

The car you see above is from the American car manufacturer called Jeep. Launched first in 1983, the Cherokee was a huge impact in the automobile industry. The first gen had a 258ci inline 6 cylinder engine which put out 110hp. The specific car shown above is the 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk which is equipped with a 6.2L V8 which puts out a massive horsepower of 707. The cool thing is that it manages to hit 62 mph which is a hundredth of a second faster than a Lamborghini Urus.
